New Restaurant Open in Beattyville

Billy's Place, a new restaurant in Beattyville, plugged in their "OPEN" sign this week after 2 years of building and preparing. Located on HWY 11 North just 1 Mile from Beattyville, Billy's Place offers burgers, fries, shake and more. They will be open 7 days a week from 10:00am to 10:00pm. 

Originally from Breathitt County, Owner Billy Ray Hensley along with his wife started work on the place 2 years ago. Billy was formally a logger and his wife Kathy used to be a banker. Together they decided that the restaurant business may be easier than the logging business.

The restaurant has a great red, yellow, and white theme with checkered floors and table tops to match. The restaurant is also very kid friendly with booster seats, cartoons on the TV in the dining area, and even a couple child picnic tables outside.  

The menu has a good variety of items including a fish dinner, shrimp dinner, and grilled chicken sandwiches. The Billy's Burger with crinkle fries is the house special. Desserts include banana splits, milkshakes and sundays with all the flavors and toppings. Everything is also reasonably priced, as the Billy's Burger special is only $6.00. Something new is alway fun to try so head over there and try out Bill's Place!
