Lee County Oral History
The project consists of recorded "fireside chat" sessions at the Lee County Public Library. Attendees will sit around the fireplace and tell stories about what it was like to grow up in Lee County. Topics to discuss include; education, farming, town life, industry, government, religion, technology and more! Stories will be posted here and will be available online to the general public for genealogy research, classroom history enhancement, or just for entertainment sake. Reproduction, distribution, the preparation of derivative works, pubic performances or displays of the following stories are strictly prohibited without written consent. All participates have signed media releases for the donation of the following recorded group sessions to the partnering agencies listed above including the Kentucky Oral History Commission, and EKU Department of Sociology.
