G3 10K Challenge - Guts, Guns & Gravity
Headed to Red River Gorge, KY
Campton, KY - The G3 10K Challenge - Guts, Guns, & Gravity - is coming to Kentucky's beautiful Red River Gorge area. This true test of endurance will challenge some of the region's best athletes on Saturday, October 4th at 9:00am.
Hosted by Red River Gorge Zipline Tours, Cliffview Resort, and Decisive Action, the G3 10K Challenge is a 6.2 mile trail run in eastern Kentucky's stunning Red River Gorge, consisting of 12 of the most challenging obstacles you can endure. The optional Marksmanship Challenge includes SOG axe throwing, as well as pistol and rifle shooting.
No prior knowledge or experience is necessary to compete in the marksmanship portion of the G3 challenge. Decisive Action, who provides weapons and tactics training for military personnel, police departments, as well as civilians, will be on site to help anyone who might need assistance or have questions.
A portion of all proceeds will go to benefit Wishes for Warriors, a public owned, veteran operated, 100% not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing help and assistance to disabled veterans and their families, across the nation, in order to fulfill their goals and aspirations. There are thousands veterans that retire from service not only physically disabled, but mentally as well. The mission at Wishes for Warriors Corp. is to assure our disabled veterans that although bruised and broken they are not lost.
Post-race activities include an after party at Cliffview Lodge, featuring great food and beer selections.
