Annual Meeting, Dinner and Awards Banquet.

5:30pm to 6:30pm: Member Focus Meeting (on group purchasing) You are invited to join other members in a conversation before the event starts about group purchasing. We want to know what kinds of group purchasing discounts members are interested in. Our goal is to identify at least one item we can explore procuring at a discount to the Local Motive members and we want to hear your ideas.
6:30pm to 7:30pm: Resource Panel We will offer a panel that explores and showcases available resources and spotlights some success stories.
7:30pm to 9:00pm: Dinner*, Local Motive Year in Review and Member Acknowledgments
*Dinner will be catered Holiday Meal by Sugar and Spice of Irvine, Kentucky
*Dinner is free but we do ask that you RSVP by January 11th or better yet, do it now by going HERE
This year we will be acknowledging four Local Motive members with awards to honor their commitments to improving the Eastern Kentucky region by dedicating their time and resources to their businesses and beyond. We are still accepting nominations for the annual awards, if you know of a business that you would like to nominate, please do so by clicking HERE.
Membership Acknowledgments:
The Community Champion Award recognizes an individual, non profit or business who exemplifies community leadership through actions that reflect the mission of the Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance. The award recipient, who must be an Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance Member or member of a partner organization (i.e. Chamber of Commerce), will have demonstrated a vision and selfless commitment in moving Eastern Kentucky Local Businesses forward.
The Best Customer Service Award recognizes an individual, non profit or business who has demonstrated the best customer service. The award recipient, who must be an Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance Member or member of a partner organization (i.e. Chamber of Commerce), will have demonstrated a commitment to improving customer satisfaction.
The Outstanding Curb Appeal Award recognizes an individual, non profit or business whose property showcases appealing aesthetics that is inviting to visitors or customers. The award recipient, who must be an Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance Member or member of a partner organization (i.e. Chamber of Commerce), will have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the community through the use of landscaping and inviting signage or displays.
The Local Business of the Year recognizes a business who exemplifies community leadership, customer service, curb appeal and innovation through actions that reflect the mission of the Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance. The award recipient must be an Eastern Kentucky Local Motive Alliance Member or member of a partner organization (i.e. Chamber of Commerce).
