Christmas Spirit

Once again, we have joined together to host the “Christmas Spirit” activities to be held in Beattyville/Lee County throughout the month of December. We have been through a lot this year and we want to spread some EXTRA Christmas CHEER! Activities will be a little different this year, but we want to bring the community together to celebrate the season.
We are planning an event on Saturday evening December 2nd that will include bright lights and decorations on Main Street, Christmas Carolers, and the annual Kiwanis Treat (drive thru). Featured this year will be the Santa's Work shop for kids to make a craft, have some hot chocolate and get their pictures taken with their favorite characters such as Frosty, Mickie, Minnie, Rudolph, Elf on a Shelf and more!
Throughout the entire month of December, we are planning several other special activities like music on Main Street, home decorating contest, business decorating contest, and photo contest. Sponsored by the Christmas Spirit Committee, the Downtown Beattyville Alliance, and the Beattyville/Lee County Tourism Commission.
