Gates open at 6:00pm each night!
Happy Top Park will be very busy the last week in August. Coming back to Beattyville this year is Casey's Rides Carnival Company! Carnival Rides, food, games and more. It is free to get into the fair. Purchase a wrist band for $15 to ride unlimited rides all night or purchase tickets to ride specific rides. There is no cover charge or entree fee to get into the fairgrounds.
Be sure to check out the local vendors that will be set up.
6:30pm Car Show on Happy Top in the Baseball Field Friday, August 24th, 2018
Get out your classic car and show it off during the county fair and carnival. Free registration on Happy Top Park in the Baseball Field. Each Car is showcased and dash plaques will be given to the first 25 cars. Donations are appreciated. Motorcycles, buggies, and trucks are also welcome to participate! Festivities begin at 6:30pm. Sponsored by the Downtown Beattyville Alliance and its members.

7:30pm-9:00pm Live Performance by Tony Pence and The Big Ugly
Tony Pence is a Kentucky bred Songwriter and Singer with Appalachian roots wrapped around the stories of life told in his songs, having been honed by over 30 years of performance spanning the Country Jamborees in youth to the Wardman Park Marriott in Washington, DC for The Kentucky Society’s Bluegrass Ball in January 2013.
Tony is host of the Bluegrass Railroad Saturdays 11AM to 2PM on Morehead State Public Radio. Tony also features Regional Artists with Radio ready projects giving up and comers a venue for people to hear the fruits of their labor, a narrow aisle in today’s radio.
Tony Pence and the Big Ugly have preformed in Beattyville once before at the Tourism Stage during the 2017 Woolly Worm Festival. This performance will be a little bit if it all from a mix of classic country, bluegrass, and classic rock.
