Welcome to "The Heart of the Kentucky River" located in Beattyville/Lee County, KY. We are just 20 minutes south of the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. Our small river community has a large heart and great southern hospitality. We have a number of attractions and activities. You can enjoy outdoor adventures, cabin rentals, historical sites, festivals and local events.
The Beattyville/Lee County Tourism Commission was established in November 2011 by a joint ordinance between the City of Beattyville and the Lee County Fiscal Court. Our funding comes from a 3% transient room tax on the rental properties in Lee County. The commission uses these funds for promotions and recreational development.

Along with Estill and Wolfe Counties, Lee County Tourism will be at the Kentucky State Fair promoting all the attractions and adventures that Beattyville/Lee County has to offer.
August 22-24, 2014 - Natural Bridge Artisan Festival
Festival dedicated to spotlighting local crafts and music. Located at Natural Bridge State Park. Browse through local craft booths and listen to some folk and bluegrass music.
