Welcome to "The Heart of the Kentucky River" located in Beattyville/Lee County, KY. We are just 20 minutes south of the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. Our small river community has a large heart and great southern hospitality. We have a number of attractions and activities. You can enjoy outdoor adventures, cabin rentals, historical sites, festivals and local events.
The Beattyville/Lee County Tourism Commission was established in November 2011 by a joint ordinance between the City of Beattyville and the Lee County Fiscal Court. Our funding comes from a 3% transient room tax on the rental properties in Lee County. The commission uses these funds for promotions and recreational development.

September 4-6th, 2014 - Meadowgreen Park 37th Annual Bluegrass Festival
Located in Clay City, KY the festival highlights local bluegrass bands. Advance passes $35.00. Festival managed by the Kentucky Friends of Bluegrass.
September 20, 2014 - Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Dept Trail Ride
